Orlando Miguel Corrales, 83, of Keaau died Nov. 1 at home. Born in Dingras, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he was a former worker of Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Co., an ambulance driver in the Philippines and member of Holy Rosary Catholic Mission – Keaau. Mabel Catherine Pacheco, 90, of Hilo died Nov. 12 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Hilo, she was a physical education teacher, front office secretary, security supervisor and custodial supervisor at St. Joseph Schools and the first woman inducted into the Big Island Sports Hall of Fame.
